HOG Day Reedy River Clean Up and FBC Bank Restoration

River Clean Up
Clean-up is from 8:30 am ‘til 11:30. Check in will be at either St. Matthew Methodist church, 701 Cleveland Street or Swamp Rabbit Green. Please park in the church parking lot and come to the covered shelter behind the church to sign in. You will be asked to sign a safety waiver if you haven’t already done so and will find your clean up area based on number of volunteers needed and given any final instructions necessary at that time.
We will have some extra gloves, but please bring some if you have them. Also consider bringing old shoes, or boots that can get wet, long pants, hat and sunscreen, yard clippers or extension arms (please label these items in case they get left behind), as well as your camera. We love pictures!
FBC River Bank Restoration
Work at FBC will also occur from 8:30 am ‘til 11:30. Check in will be at First Baptist Church. Please park in the church parking lot and head towards the Swamp Rabbit Trail/Reedy River. You will be asked to sign a safety waiver if you haven’t already done so and will be assigned a task.
We will have extra gloves and tools for restoration, but please bring some if you have them. Also consider bringing old shoes, or boots that can get dirty, long pants, hat and sunscreen, as well as trowels or other gardening tools (please label these items in case they get left behind), as well as your camera. We love pictures!
A THANK YOU CELEBRATION WILL OCCUR FROM 11:30 - 1:30 AT THE GREENVILLE DRIVE STADIUM IN THE WEST END.
